Q. Where are you located?​

DB Dessert Company  is located in the Montavilla/Mt Tabor neighborhood of Portland, Oregon serving all all the Portland Metro areas.

Q. Do you have a retail store where I can walk in and purchase a cake or desserts?

  Yes ! We have our retail bakery which is open Tuesday -Saturday 11:00am-6:00pm We  are happy to schedule phone consultations if you cant make it into the bakery. Want to see out custom cake designs?  Please visit our Gallery or you can find us on both Facebook and Instagram

Q. Do you offer cake tastings?

Yes, tastings are reserved for wedding's or other events where guest counts are 100 or more. We also offer a convenient To Go tasting box. This allows you to take your time and taste our tasty cake flavors and not feel the pressure to decide on the spot. We offer a cake tasting at a charge of $35 per couple to sample a selection of our amazing cake flavors, fillings, and frostings.

Q. Are there gluten free/dietary options? 

      We offer vegan and gluten free options by pre order only. We are not a gluten free facility and customers with extreame sensitivities should avoid.

Q.  How far in advance should I place my order?​

Wedding Cakes

Clients are encouraged to schedule a consultation several months in advance. Usually three - six months prior to your big day is ideal to save your date for a wedding cake. A 50% deposit is required  for wedding cakes to secure your date and the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your event date. Of course, situations arise and short planning may be needed, please contact us and see what we can do!

Q. How much do your cakes cost?

Many factors are involved in determining the cost of our custom cakes as every cake is customized to order and priced individually.  Cake pricing incorporates many variables and specifics, such as the number of servings, the complexity of design elements, and number of tiers, etc.  For more detailed pricing, please Contact Us and we can schedule a consultation or review your desired order.

Q. I saw a photo of a cake that I love. Can you recreate it?

If you saw an image of a cake that you are interested in , please email it to us directly at Info@DBDessertcompany.com  We can recreate the overall feel of the design, but not the exact cake design. We pride ourselves on creating original products and we prefer to not directly duplicate other designers work.  After all each client should have a custom cake designed for them.  Your cake will be special for you if its from DB Dessert Company.

Q. Do you deliver?
Yes, we do deliver large or custom orders, please contact us for delivery fees. 

 

Q. Do you ship your cakes?
Unfortunately, we do NOT ship cakes at this time we hope to add this service soon.

 

PICKUP WAVER

If you have chosen to have your cake picked up, we cannot be responsible for damage to any cake once it has left DB DESSERT COMPANY’S, possession any repairs or additional cakes will be subject to additional fees. Full information regarding this topic will be attached to the pickup waiver attached to the Terms & Conditions. We always recommend adding delivery to your custom cake orders.
